Delegates will gain practical experience operating an order picker, supported by essential theory. Training covers safe operation, manoeuvring, load handling and pre-use checks. Training is delivered on-site across Doncaster, Sheffield, Rotherham, Worksop, Barnsley, South Yorkshire and across the UK, with ITSSAR accredited training available. Flexible delivery hours means we can cover days, afters or even night shifts.

Course Content
• Health and safety responsibilities for order picker operators
• Pre-use inspection and safety checks
• Safe travelling and manoeuvring
• Safe load handling and picking procedures
• Operating safely around racking and pedestrians
• Workplace hazard awareness
• Safe operating procedures at height
• Practical operating and handling assessment

Novice course duration:
• 3 delegates – 5 days
• 2 delegates – 4 days
• 1 delegate – 3 days

Refresher Course:
• 3 delegates maximum – 1 day

Truck type:
• E0 – Low level order picker, up to and including 300mm
• E1 – Medium level order picker, 301mm to 3000mm
• E2 – High level order picker, over 3000mm
