This ITSSAR accredited VNA training course covers safe operation in man-up and man-down configurations, navigation within tight aisles, and correct load-handling techniques. Training is delivered on your site anywhere across Doncaster, Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, the wider South Yorkshire region and across the UK, ensuring operators learn within their real working environment for maximum relevance and safety. Flexible delivery means we can cover days, afters, or even night shift.

 • Health and safety responsibilities for VNA operators
• Pre-use inspections and safety checks
• Understanding man-up vs man-down systems
• Operating within very narrow aisles
• Safe load handling, stacking, and unstacking at height
• Steering, positioning, and aisle transfer
• Stability principles and safe working practices
• Emergency procedures and evacuation
• Practical driving and handling assessment

Novice course duration:
• 3 delegates – 5 days
