Delegates will gain the knowledge and practical skills required to operate a manual or semi-manual pallet truck safely. The course covers pre-use inspections, load stability, safe manoeuvring, loading and unloading, and the hazards associated with moving palletised loads. Training is delivered on your site, anywhere across Doncaster, Sheffield, Worksop, Rotherham, Barnsley, the wider South Yorkshire region and across the UK, in line with ITSSAR accreditation requirements.

• Health and safety responsibilities
• Pallet truck controls and components
• Pre-use inspections and defect reporting
• Safe working load and load stability Safe loading, unloading and manoeuvring
• Operating on ramps and different surfaces
• Awareness of pedestrians and workplace hazards
• Theory and practical assessments

Novice Course Duration:
• Maximum of 3 delegates – 1 day

Experienced Operator Course:
• Maximum of 3 delegates – 1 day

Refresher Course:
• Maximum of 3 delegates – 1 day
