3b Mobile Boom – Cherry Picker (IPAF, ITSSAR, In-house)
Delegates will gain practical experience operating a 3b cherry picker, supported by essential theory. This course covers the safe use, manoeuvring and pre-use checks, ensuring delegates can work at height safely and in line with industry standards; PUWER, LOLER, WAHR and HSE regulations. Delivered on-site across Sheffield, Worksop, Rotherham, Doncaster, Barnsley, the wider South Yorkshire area and across the UK, this training provides hands-on experience to improve competence and safety in elevated work operations.
Course Content:
• Roles and responsibilities when working at height
• Health and safety regulations and guidance
• Pre-use inspection and function checks
• Safe operating techniques for vertical platforms
• Manoeuvring in restricted and open areas
• Setting up and positioning for safe work at height
• Hazard awareness and emergency lowering procedures
• Practical operating assessment
Course duration:
Our 3b Mobile boom course takes 1 day for both novice and refresher training with a max of 4 delegates. Our combined 3A Scissor Lift and 3B Boom Lift course also takes 1 day with 4 delegates.
